LOVE and its Profound Sound🔊
Reflecting on my favorite sound bath to date that took place at the Fibonacci spiral fountain during the last sunset of @groovewellvacation.
At the center of the spiral was an altar for the souls of loved ones who have passed.
Surrounding the spiral were the souls who brought so much Love throughout the weekend.
This weekend came from,
was built with,
a celebration of,
a dance to,
a sharing amongst,
a symphony played,
with
in
& for
Love.
I am always speaking towards the Heart in my teachings. I talk about how the Heart in Yoga is known as “The Unstruck Sound.” To explain this in short, the word “unstruck” is important, because in order for sound to occur in our universe, something has to “strike” or “collide” something else (like a mallet striking a singing bowl). This, however, is not the case for the Heart. The sound of the Heart is spontaneous, unbeaten, “Unstruck,” and Unbound. It’s where our Earthly Self and Higher Self intersect, rather than collide, to create our Soul’s ultimate expression and state of Being.
We all have this Sound within us. Each Sound perfectly unique and yet holding a common thread that connects us all.
This was felt so deeply over the weekend, and when looking at the altar, it was important to me to emphasize how our loved ones’ Sound resonates in us even when they go. This is the power of the Heart. When we choose to live in this place, it makes waves that stand the test of time.
At the end of the day, you really only have one choice: fear, or Love.
I choose Love. I choose to continually dive deeper into its magnificence and share it with the world. I choose to be inspired by each expression of Love through others. And to be endlessly humbled and empowered by it all in the process.
Thank you to @kaelirenae for helping me make this happen, to Koko distributing the cacao at the beginning of the sound bath, and to @ryanschmidtyyy for perfectly capturing the magic.
I’ll be feeling into this heartbeat until next year.
In Light,
💫
